Football
Quinn
Early’s passion for Football began when
he was eight years old. That passion helped him to
excel at Great Neck South High School on Long Island.
Where he played Football, Basketball, and Track.
As
a senior, he received a football scholarship at the
University of Iowa where he earned first team All-Big
Ten and All American honors. He also was a two time
Big Ten long jump champion for track.
In 1988, he
was a third round draft pick for the San Diego Chargers
and during his twelve-year career he played for the
Chargers, Saints, Bills, and Jets. He was considered
to be a complete receiver who could run, block, and
catch, led his team in 1994 and 1995 in receptions,
and still holds records for the Hawkeyes and Bills
for longest catch—both for 95 yards.
He retired
in 1999 and started a speed training business working
with high school, college, and pro athletes on enhancing
athletic ability through speed and quickness training.
Commercial Art
He
received his degree in Commercial Art and was commissioned
by the University of Iowa to paint an oil portrait
of Hayden Fry, coach of the Hawkeyes, for his tenure
at Iowa.
He also was commissioned by New Orleans Saints
to create the team yearbook in 1993. In 2002, he
became the design director and Vice President for
QPro Products, a sports nutrition company that focused
on educating athletes about exercise, eating, and
proper supplementation.
Martial Arts
In
1990, Quinn began studying Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and
Yang style Tai Chi. In the past 17 years, he has
competed in many national and international competitions

In
1997, he became a teacher for White Dragon Schools
in San Diego and has since produced several black

including for Inside Kung-Fu Magazine, on how Martial
Arts can be used for a healthy lifestyle.
Quinn Early has dedicated a lifetime to sports,
